TEXThi there. I'm new to this so here it goes. I have a 1968 Mustang Coupe that has a 289 in it. I recently have re-started my restoration on it and it's been sitting for quite some time. I got it to start and it ran fine for a few minutes then it decided to run on 5 cylinders. I just replaced the plugs and wires and it still is running on only 5 cylinders I can't think of why it isn't running on those 3 cylinders. I was thinking of changing the points and distributorcap etc. But first I wanted to see what someone elses opinion might be. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks :5:

When anything sits for a long time, you can expect problems. Could be stuck valves, frozen compression rings, bad fuel, you name it.
