I have created a new classifieds section for Shnack.com. This replaces the old system, which had been down for a few months. You can check it it out at the following URL:

I'm pretty sure I've got all the bugs worked out. Let me know if you run into any problems or if you have any suggestions.

The site has recently been having a huge problem with forum spammers. Rather than disable guest posting I've modified the site to add some requirements for posting which forum spammers don't normally meet.

If you have problems posting messages to the forums or posting comments to news stories or the photo gallery you'll want to make sure that your web browser does not have javascript disabled and that it will allow cookies.

UPDATE
This requirement should now be lifted. That being said, there are still many features that work best with javascript enabled.

Buying what? That you have to register before sending private messages? If registration wasn't required then any spammer would just start sending private messages to everyone.

Once you're registered you'll have a choice of several avatars from which to choose. You are also free to upload an image from from your computer

I prefer #2, though #1 isn't too bad either.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Is it in the Photo Gallery that you can't see pictures, or that you can't see any of the images anywhere on the site? I've tested the site with Opera 9, and I don't seem to have any problems with any of the images or pictures.

Click on the "My Profile" link near the top of the screen. Once you're on the profile page there is an Avatar Information section at the bottom. You can either upload an image from your computer or you can click on the "Select from Avatar Gallery" option to see what avatars are already available here.

The Mercury Capri. Yes, I definitely remember it. I still see one every once in a while, though not too often.

If you want, you can register here at Shnack.com and upload pictures into the Photo / Video Gallery. You can even upload pictures without an account, but you can't do as much with them.

That sounds great. Sounds like you are a Mustang family. Feel free to post pics of the cars in the photo gallery.

Greetings,

Shnack.com has upgraded its Photo Gallery. The new gallery has many more options, such as the ability to store videos as well. Shnack.com members can upload photos and videos and create their own gallery. The current quota limitation is 8MB, which is double what the previous photo gallery had.

Let me know what you think, or if you run into any bugs or problems.

EDIT: The quota limitation is actually 15MB now.

You can check out http://www.kbb.com. It's the Kelley Blue Book site, where you can choose the year, make, model, condition and options for the car. It will give you a ballpark figure of what you can sell it for.

To get a better idea, search used car sites online to see what the car is currently selling for. Bullitts are a bit of a specialty version, but there should at least be a few for sale to get an idea of what others are asking for it.

There are some visual differences between the two (bumpers, hood, wheels, etc.). The Mach 1 has a shaker hood scoop, and a flat black stripe from the scoop to the front of the hood. A black Mach 1 stripe along the length of the side, the spoiler was painted black, it got rolled exhaust tips like the 2001 Bullitt, and Comfort Weave seats like the original Mach 1.

Aside from the visual differences, there's differences under the hood as well. The Mach 1 made about 305 horsepower, the cobra made about 390 horsepower. Mach 1's therefore, tend to cost a little less than the Cobra.

I've added a new Mustang History section that can be accessed through the Navigation block on the left. It has a lot more information that the old History module, but I'm still working on updating a few things.
