I have a 96 cobra and I just payed it of this summer. I already have a 5 grand paint job so now I'm going for power...I have 105,000 miles and want to get a turbo...I don't know to much about turbos and was wondering if my engine would last if I just slapped one on?

if I get on of the new crate motor would that take away from the original value. Wouldn't my car be worth more with the original engine?

I was looking into buying a turbo for my 96 cobra. I have 105,000 mileages on it. I was wondering if I should just buy a new cobra motor or if I would be better off just rebuilding the motor I already have.
