I have a 1992 LX convertible and the automatic overdrive transmission has lost overdrive. It takes off goes through the gears 1st , 2nd, and drive then when it's suppose to shift to overdrive it has nothing. This car has only 27,000 miles and has never been run hard. Any Ideas??

the plastic bushing at thr throttle
body is broken or missing.
this causes the line pressures to drop in the
trans and burns out the trans.
anyone with an AOD in a Fox should
have this bushing checked / replaced
once a year. A 10-15 dollar repair
beats a tranny overhaul
