I have an '05 black Mustang. I live in the Northeast and the Department of Transportation uses cinders vs. salt in the winter. The paint job is shot - there are about 15 chips in the hood and up the drivers' side. I took it to the dealer and they are telling me that they 'don't know if there is anything they can do for me'. The care has 8000 miles on it. I understand I'm going to get hit with stones (sticks, trash, tire scraps, etc.), but the paint should hold up. Have you heard of any complaints with paint on the 2005s? PS - the car is babied! Hand washing, parking in another hemisphere in the parking lot, you get the idea...
