I GOT THIS 1990 FORD MUSTANG LX, MY BROTHER OWNED IT BEFORE ME AND CHANGE OUT THE MOTOR WITH A 302 BUILT TO THE HILT. I HAD IT FOUR MONTHS AND I HAVE PUT OVER 2000.00 INTO IT THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO WAS I PUT A CLUTCH AND PRESSURE PLATE, AND NOW I CAN NOT GET THE CLUTCH TO ENGAUGE. I KNOW THAT IT IS IN RIGHT BUT MY CLUTCH PETAL FEELS LIKE IT DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO ENGAUGE IT FULL. IT WILL NOT SHIFT GEARS WITH THE CAR RUNNING. IT HAS A ZOOM CABLE AND PAW MADE OF STEEL . BUT I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ADJUST IT THE CABLE IS ON THE ARM AND IN THE PAW. IT WAS RELLY STIFF AND THEN IT MADE A POPPING NOISE THEN NO TENISION ON THE CLUTCH WHEN YOU PUSH IT IN. CAN SOMEONE HELP I THINK IT IS THE GEARS ON THE ADJUSTMENT IS STRIPED OUT IS MY GUESS.

do you have the self adjusting clutch? (pull up on pedal 2-3 times to adjust)
