Inline 6 swap (if possible)

I was wondering what it would take to swap an Inline 6 for like a 289 V8 in a 1968 Mustang Coupe? Basically what would i have to change out to make it work properly? I'm sure it would be alot, but i'm not positive. If it is possible what suggestions would you have as to what to use in the swap such as what type of ______ from this ____ will fit into the mustang? Basically suggestions on what you would do to it. Once again i'm not sure if you can do it or not, but if it is i would like to know. I'm just getting out of high school and am started to pick up more about this kind of stuff. Thank you.

Aaron My 66 coupe was change over to a 302 Iam pretty sure on 67 &later models you do not have to change the suspension pieces as I did on 66-64 models The wheel bearing are the same for 6or 8 on 67 and up.I believe you will have to change motor mountsand go to a larger radiator. And of course a suitable transmission and rear end.I don't know about the brake drums on a 66 they were 4 lug on a sixcyl. I have never don it on a 67 keep researching it It can be done
