2010 Mustang Interior

After getting a clearer look at the 2010 Ford Mustang GT500 yesterday, we just got these perfect spy shots in from the folks at KGP laying out the interior changes for the 2010 Ford Mustang. If you're having a hard time identifying the differences, don't be shocked, as they're subtle and evolutionary over the outgoing 2009 model. Given the rubber steering wheel, we're assuming this interior belongs to the base V6 model, but changes like the revised center stack, cleaned up emergency brake lever, new air vents and a side window defrost vent will be shared across all cars. It's also worth noting the ergonomic updates to the center stack, as the digital readout is now at the top of the pile, followed by presets and menu controls; the volume and tuning knobs are both analog knobs now (thank you Ford) and the HVAC controls move to the bottom. Door panels remain largely unchanged except for the speaker panel.

2010 Shelby GT500 Convertible Spy Shot

We now bring you some shots of the 2010 Shelby GT500 prototype. The latest prototypes of the updated Ford Mustang platform have been running around with heavy vinyl cladding, limiting the view until only recently, but this one that's been shot is only donning simple graphic tape. We are able to get a good view of the next dose of venom in the pony car lineup!  It appears as though there are some touches to the grilles, headlight assembly, and what looks to be a series of new hood ducts to bring the cool air into the reputable GT500's supercharger.

These shots, coming by way of Jalopnik reader Rob, are the first to show the new 2010 Ford Mustang without the S&M leather cladding we've come to know and despise. Yes, finally the new Mustang has disrobed to show us some pretty leopard-skin body paint.

2010 Mustang Rear End

A member from TheMustangSource.com forums took a photo from his mobile phone of what looks to be the 2010 Mustang's rear end without any camo on his way home from work.  In the photo you can clearly see the tailights have been redesigned with them looking to be stretched a bit and a few edges added.  The faux gas cap is more rounded and sticks out more from the trunk. The trunk looks to be nice and smooth all the way up to the third break light without the lip from the previous model. The rear spoiler looks to be from the GT500 but could be a little different for the 2010 Mustang. The bottom part of the back bumper is made of black plastic and extends from wheel to wheel. Another added design feature not found on the previous model is an added light on the fender.

2010 Mustang Hood

A member over at MustangForums.com posted up a spy photo of what looks to be the 2010 Mustang hood in sheetmetal form. The Mustang hood was spied at a tool and die open house at Ford. As for the design of the hood you can clearly see it has very distinct muscular lines running length wise with a rather large cowl hood.
