Ford has decided to unveil the new 2005 Mustang convertible at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit from January 15-23, 2005, with actual production scheduled to begin January 31, 2005.
In keeping with Mustang tradition, the new 2005 Mustang convertible still seats four passengers but as you can see from the photos below, the convertible top design has been much improved. Unlike earlier generations of Mustangs where the top folds with underside of the top exposed when the top is down, the new 2005 stang folds in a "Z" like pattern to give a much cleaner and striking appearance. This is one "HOT" looking open air ride, we are all sure to love, especially once the aftermarket industry works their wonders with it!
